This is not just high CPU usage, but apparently an infinite loop, since I have tried letting it run overnight but it is still hung the next morning. I am running Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6, and version 14.6.8 of MS Word, on The symptom is that the process hangs forever, while the activity monitor is showing 100% usage of one CPU. I am having trouble with both Word and Excel in MS Office 2011 for Mac.
